During an October 17 interview on Twitch.tv, Archbishop Georg Gänswein was asked whether the more liberal German Church could learn from growing interest in Catholicism among young people in France and the US. The interviewer specifically mentioned the “Mass according to old rites” as a possible reason for success there. Gänswein did not directly address the old Mass.
